VARIO.tif

VARIOSKAN LUX MICROPLATE READER

Varioskan LUX is a versatile tool that supports several measuring technologies including:

  • Absorbance (UV-Vis, including pathlength correction)

  • Fluorescence Intensity (including FRET)

  • Luminescence (direct and filtered, including BRET)

The instrument has been equipped with:

  • 1 Dispenser for reagent addition (automatic)

  • Integrated gas module for controlling the gas atmosphere (CO2 & O2 ) inside the instrument for the cellular analysis throughout the experiment.

EVOS.tif

EVOS M5000 IMAGING SYSTEM

The EVOS M5000 imaging system has a high-resolution CMOS monochrome camera and can capture three fluorescence channels (DAPI, GFP, TEXAS RED) plus transmitted light, suitable for immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry staining. The current setup is suitable for microscopic slides and multi-well plate imaging for both live cells and fixed cell imaging.

In addition, it also enables Live-cell imaging with the EVOS Onstage Incubator, where live-cell analysis can be carried out with precision in control of the temperature, humidity, and gas composition over an extended period.

The in-built software also has the capability to carry out Z-stacking, Automated Z-stacking, Automated cell counting and Multichannel time-lapse imaging depending on the requirement of the experiments.

AGILENT 4150 TAPE STATION

The Agilent 4150 TapeStation is an automated electrophoresis solution that enables the quality control of DNA and RNA. It detects fluorescently stained double-stranded DNA and total RNA (Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic)  and presents the data analysis of each sample as a gel image and electropherogram. It enables the analysis of up to 16 samples in less than 20 minutes.

It enables a wide range of applications for both DNA & RNA such as:

  • Quantitation and quality Control of DNA (e.g. Cell-free DNA, fragmented genomic DNA) by using %cell-free DNA and genomic DNA (DNA Integrity Number, DIN

  • Quality control in downstream application such as next generation sequencing (e.g. adapter ligated and amplified NGS libraries)

  • Analysis of post-capture amplified libraries after target enrichment

  • PCR and multiplex PCR fragment analysis

  • Quantitation and quality control of total RNA (Prokaryotic & Eukaryotic origin) using Integrity standards for RNA (RNA integrity number equivalent, RIN)
